MIXED VEGGIE WHEAT SAMOSA.

 INGREDIANTS

Whole wheat flour - 2 cups.

Salt - to taste.

Oil- 1 tbsp.

Ajwain - A few.

For vegetable filling.

Carrot - 1 

Beans- 10-12.

Potato- 2

Peas- 1 small cup.

Spices

Turmeric powder-1/2 tbsp.

Dry mango powder - 1 tbsp.

Paprika powder - 1 1/2 tbsp.

Salt - to taste.

Garam masala- 1/2 tbsp.

Seasoning for filling:

oil-1 tbsp.

Jeera- 1 tbsp.

OIL FOR DEEP FRYING.


METHOD:

Step 1: Dough Preparation.

1. Mix flour, salt ,Ajwain and oil.

2. After we mix the oil the flour should be in a consistency that if we hold it should and if we crumble it should get crumbled.

3. Then slowly add the water and knead it to a tight dough.

4. Let the dough rest for 1 hr.

Step 2: For Vegetable filling. 

1. Clean and chop the veggies roughly .

2. Add the chopped veggies in a pressure cooker along with turmeric and pressure cook it for 2 whistles.

3. Let the pressure settle down naturally and strain the water completely and mash it smoothly with a fork.

4. In a pan oil and jeera as mentioned under seasoning for filling and add the mashed mixture. 

5. Add paprika, dry mango powder, salt and cook it till the raw smell of the spice powder disappears.

6.Turn off the stove and cool down the  mixture.

Step 3: Samosa preparation.

1. Take the dough and shape it into small balls.

2. Roll the dough in an oval shape and cut it into half.

3. Make the rolled dough in to a triangular shape and fill it with the mixture.

4. Seal the ends by applying water and pinch the same so that it does not separate .

5. Keep the samosas in the freezer for sometime.

6.  Remove the samosas and place it in hot oil.

7.Now enjoy the samosas with sauce .
